Did you know kids living in the United States have the right to a free public education? The Constitution requires that all kids be given equal educational opportunity no matter what their race, ethnic background, religion, citizen or non-citizen. This definitely isn’t your average school year. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic more than 1.4 BILLION students around the world have traded their school classrooms for home. What’s your experience been like learning from home? Learning from your teacher and seeing your classmates through a screen? “Separate, but together” has been an important motto for the time, encouraging everyone to take care of yourself and your community by staying home. For some of us being at home has been a challenge, for others maybe it’s been a blast. For many, it's been a mix of both feelings.
